About Me

I am very fortunate to have a challenging career in Intensive Care Nursing, however, after twenty years I was looking for balance in my life, to explore my artistic side.

In the small community where I currently live, the local Newspaper had an article on it's photography club.  So with my new digital camera in hand I showed up for their first meeting of the season.  After a year as a member it still wasn't enough, I wanted to know more and push myself creatively.  I fully immersed myself in learning as much as I can in everything to do with photography.  I hope to continue this learning path as there is always room to learn from others.

What I have learned thus far is that I do appreciate when a photograph captures an honest moment and can illicit an emotion.
